  2. Hey Bo - Guess what! Our neighbor came down this afternoon with a jar of hobak juk for me to try! She described it as "kabocha gruel". I thought it sounded familiar and, yep, I read about it first here!

    I liked it. I was a little surprised by how sweet it was. But it tasted very 'pure'.

  3. charissa - how fun! i wonder if she added a lot of honey or sugar. we try not to add too much, because the kabocha has a natural sweetness to it. :)
